History, Art & Culture

In The Heart Of Deerfield Beach, Florida

Over the years we have expanded our presence in the downtown area to include the Butler House Museum, the Pioneer House, the Museum and Cultural Center, the Old School House, the Red Caboose and Deerfield Beach Elementary.

The Deerfield Beach Historical Society, founded in 1973, inspires public awareness and appreciation of the diverse people, places, and events that contribute to Deerfield Beach’s evolving history.

Please consider joining the Society or renewing your current membership!

Wedding Rentals

The Perfect Wedding Spot

On the grounds of the Deerfield Beach Historical Society is a magnificent banyan tree. It is a hidden oasis and a romantic setting for weddings.

The location is available for rental and there is room for a small reception on the grounds. We have a facility across the street also available for a reception.  There is a B&B next door as a possible place for lodging, and we can help with rentals and other arrangements you may need.
