In The Heart Of Deerfield Beach, Florida
The Deerfield Beach Historical Society, founded in 1973, inspires public awareness and appreciation of the diverse people, places, and events that contribute to Deerfield Beach’s evolving history.
Over the years we have expanded our presence in the downtown area to include the Butler House Museum, the Pioneer House, the Museum and Cultural Center, the Old School House, the Red Caboose and Deerfield Beach Elementary.

52 Deerfield Moments is an educational project of The Deerfield Beach Historical Society. It captures 52 moments in the history of our city. These moments serve as talking points leading to the telling of our city’s history.
This project is sponsored in part by the Dept of State, Division of Cultural Affairs, Florida Council on Arts and Culture, and the State of Florida, National Endowment for the Arts.
